Background and Training

Dr. Gentry received his BA in Chemistry and Biology at Pomona College and his MD at The Bowman Gray School of Medicine at the Wake Forest University in North Carolina.  He completed his Internship in San Francisco at Mt Zion Medical Center and his Surgical Residency at Michigan State University.  He received Certification by the American Board of Surgery in 1995 and was accepted as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 1997.
